MEANING:
1. One who engages in deception under an assumed name or identity.
2. fraud, sham, pretender, cheat

EXAMPLE/USAGE:
1. He then saves the queen's imposter from the dungeon.
2. At any one of those moments you could have been replaced by an imposter.
