REGURGITATE

WORD: REGURGITATE

MEANING:
1. To cause to pour back, especially to cast up (partially digested food).
2. To repeat (facts or other learned items) from memory with little reflection.
3. To pour out or throw back.   

EXAMPLE/USAGE:
1. The teacher wanted us to examine ideas rather than to regurgitate memorized facts.
